I had a painful irritation in one of my eyes and I was able to book a last minute appointment with Claire late in the day. After looking at the offending eye she suggested I should go straight to York hospital which she rang through and arranged for me. The specialist at the hospital said that if Id left it another day my eye would have been permanently damaged so as you can imagine I am eternally grateful to Claire! Very thorough and knowledgable, excellent optometrist.
